"My mission is to inspire women to transform their lives by using their voices, standing in their power and finding value in others. "

For someone who never felt like she mattered for years, deservedness was a struggle. It takes courage, faith and a lot of prayer to receive all God has in store for me.

Being the oldest of a single mom of three who became addicted to heroin.

I was born into leadership.

Then to an abusive foster home and adopted into another, becoming a chameleon was my super power. Blending in the background made survival optimal.

But I wasn’t called to the background.

However, I do lead from behind. I can teach you how too. Hiding there though, doesn’t serve anyone.

It feels good to come out of hiding.

Story telling has always been my favorite thing. I felt the same for English in high school. Writing has been an escape forever. From rap in middle and high school, to poetry. Now, my first book.

Sharing my story is nice, but more importantly helping you tell yours is my muse.

Yes, you using your voice is why I’m sharing mine. I pray that you see yourself in my community, life and business. Then in turn, be inspired to have the courage to share yours. Not just on a platform, but in your day to day experiences.

As a leader in your community. Building it, being an integral part of one and serving those connected to it.

In your life, with family. Because life is “lifing”. I know it’s slang and not a word, but after 2020 I hope you’ll agree or at least give me a pass on my grammar here.

In your business with those you serve. As long as the motives and intentions are pure, the impact will be effective and infectious.

This is the place where we will share the value in others because, valued people value people. Being seen and heard is what matters most, to many of us.

No matter where we connect, here on the blog, via email, the podcast or over on the socials. There will be a reflection, then action, then a transformation and we will all be better for it.

With the depth of Alex Elle and the faith of Sarah Jakes, and a brand of realness like no other, Niccole Nelson no longer identifies as the twelve-year-old daughter of a heroin addict, crying, scared and confused in her first foster home. She has overcome a multitude of challenges and betrayals. Now standing in her power, owning her truth, she is finding her voice while guiding others to do the same.
