Richard Bushey is the co-founder of Oak Hill Farms, a master beekeeper, cocktail aficionado, an amazing husband, and an awesome father to 3 girls.
After suffering a heart attack in his early forties, Rich and his wife Carla chose to slow down and connect back with their homegrown roots. Soon after this life altering scare, the idea for Oak Hill Farms was born. Rich started beekeeping, tending to the farm, growing fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Taking their farm fresh products to farmers markets made the couple realize the need for a destination where people could come, slow down, and enjoy farm life even just for an afternoon.
Rich, a builder by trade, put his building skills to good use and built Oak Hill Farms from the ground up! Now, a go-to spot for families to gather, living the farm life changed their lives for the better. With a love for entertaining family and friends, Rich began pulling ingredients from his garden and farm to create cocktails that taste as good as they look!! After one too many requests for his recipes, Rich finally decided to put pen to paper and release his first book!
