“To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don’t grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float.” ~ Alan Watts

IG Introspections is excited to partner with transformational thought leader + master swim coach, Naz Aksu to publish her forthcoming book, Live Like Water. Naz’s profound message about the wisdom of water spoke immediately to our mission, and we know the deep impact this book will make on so many. With many powerful takeaways in this book, we are certain Naz’s words will encourage people to flow with life’s natural rhythms, embrace simplicity, and find strength in softness. It is an honor to put forth such inspiring content for readers around the globe.

An open-water marathon swimmer, masters swim coach, and guest writer for Outdoor Fitness Türkiye magazine, Naz Aksu brings the philosophy of Live Like Water to life. She shares the wisdom of water, reflecting resilience, flexibility, and inner strength. Just as water adapts effortlessly, flowing and overcoming obstacles, Naz encourages others on their journeys to self-discovery.

Her story reminds us that, like water, we all have the power to grow and reach new depths. Naz offers readers a refreshing perspective on self-awareness, balancing the demands of life and guiding them to find their own path through the transformative power of living like water.

Here’s a bit more about Naz’s awesomeness~

Naz Aksu is the co-founder and CEO of 25karats.com, one of New York’s leading eCommerce diamond jewelry companies since 2008. Beyond her business success, her deep passion for water has shaped her life. Aksu’s journey with water began years ago when she immersed herself in a pool to lighten her mental and emotional burdens. She started swimming to escape from herself, unknowingly embarking on a journey of self-discovery.

Marrying in 2002 and taking on the surname “AKSU” (which translates to “pure water”) somehow marked her introduction to the wisdom of water. Now, as a writer, she shares her water experiences, the transformative power of living like water, swimming techniques, and interviews with leading swimmers and fellow water enthusiasts.

Naz was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1977. Since 2002, she has lived in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. She is married with two children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s in Marketing. She is also a certified swim coach through USA Swimming, U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS), and the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA).
